Our strategic alliance with SDL Tridion has proven highly effective in providing our customers with effective solutions,
customised on the latest SDL Tridion R5 web content management software.
As a result we have built up a respectable volume of expertise with these technologies.
Several products, aimed at small to medium sized enterprises, are currently under development.
Where are we situated
Our head office is situated in Somerset West, close to Cape Town, South Africa.
Amakozi Technologies employs a small core of permanent employees.
Development teams, situated in Cape Town, South Africa and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, jointly work on implementation projects.
Founders
Established in 2005, Amakozi’s two founders have a combined 30 years experience in the IT industry.
Deon Dixon, Chief Operating Officer, is in charge of the South African development and offshoring operations,
while Hendrik Tredoux, Principal Consultant, runs the European and USA consulting leg, operating from San José, California.
Our European subsidiary, Amakozi Technologies BV, is situated in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with Hein Eltink as Managing Director.
Our Approach
Staffing of large projects is done via established partnerships with Cape Town
based contracting houses.
This business model allows Amakozi Technologies
to concentrate on their core competencies, while having access to a wide
range of specialized and scarce skills, as well as a large pool of human
resources.
Outsourcing and Offshoring
Outsourcing is an established business model and is gaining popularity. It frees any
company from staffing problems, as well as the overheads of equipment, software licenses,
and human resource administration and overheads such as pension, medical insurance
and holiday and sick leave. By outsourcing your IT projects to foreign countries, you get the
additional advantages of more readily available resources and favorable rates.
Being in the same time zone as Europe, positions us perfectly for offshoring projects from Europe.
We also share language and culture with Europe and the USA, making us a more ideal offshoring partner
